Trader Joe's "Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons"

Rating 8/10

Yay these were amazing! These mini wontons are so cute and small. The wontons are located in the frozen section and are sold for $2.99. I haven’t eaten these as a meal yet, only as a snack so we will have to see what a real serving size looks like haha.

They actually taste really good! I was a tad worried because someone I know doesn’t like them, but I am so happy I still tried them out! There is a heavy cilantro taste which I’m surprisingly not mad at. So if you hate cilantro, then just move past these haha. I put soy sauce on them yum!

The directions for these are exactly like the chicken potstickers from TJ (stay tuned for that review hehe). You pan fry them and the steam them! Don’t be scared by those big cooking words. It is actually really easy and only takes 10 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend putting them in the microwave because they end up hella hard and crunchy. And not like a nice pan fry crunchy, it’s like a uncooked/unsteamed crunchy. I did this so trust my judgement.

These are REALLY REALLY SMALL. So we will have to see if it’s worth the price after I eat a “Maddie serving”. I’ll put a pic of the finished product so you can see how little they are. $2.99 is really really cheap for a meal, but the frozen potstickers from TJ are $1.99. Yes I know, I’m super stingy about a dollar. I RECOMMEND WOO.
