Trader Joe's "Buffalo Style Chicken Breast Wrap"

Rating: 8/10

Welcome to my first post in the Trader Joe’s portion of the blog! From what you can see from the title, I’ll be reviewing the “Buffalo Style Chicken Breast Wrap With Blue Cheese Dressing”.
I’ll say right off the bat why I gave it an 8 and not a 10… the amount of fat. Oh lordy my heart nearly skipped a beat when I saw the grams of fat for this wrap. I’ll include a pic of the nutritional facts, but it’s basically 19 grams of fat for HALF OF THE WRAP. OH YES, HALF. Now, if you don’t use the blue cheese dressing, I believe it’s 11 grams of fat, STILL FOR ONLY HALF. Now of course I ate the whole thing before seeing this, but I’m not complaining.

The price is pretty hard to beat for a chicken wrap. $3.99! I personally think TJ has so many options for less than $3.99 that are not in the prepackaged section, but if I’m looking for something on the go, this will be my new go to. Hopefully that won’t be often because then I’ll most likely gain 10 pounds hehe.

Now the taste… it was great. The buffalo sauce isn’t super overwhelming so I’d recommend even if you aren’t a spicy fan. But don’t get me wrong, it does have a kick! The blue cheese dressing went really well with it. I'd say that the more dressing you used, the less you taste the buffalo. I had about ⅔ of the dressing with the wrap. I used it more sparingly because I wanted the buffalo to be the main flavor! There is celery mixed with the chicken and I think it added a nice crunch and adds some color! It is all wrapped in a tomato tortilla which adds some color, but I don't remember there being a distinctive taste!

Thank you guys for reading my blog!
