Is Maxpass REALLY Worth It?

I’ll just start by saying HELL YES IT’S WORTH IT. Maxpass is a feature on the Disneyland app that allows you to book your fastpasses online. In addition, it allows you to download all of the professional photos you take in the park!

Here comes the iconic pro/con list:

It’s only $10!
It’s $10 per person per day. This isn’t practical for large parties.
You get all of the photos that you take with photographers. This is my favorite part of Maxpass. My boyfriend and I have hundreds of photos from this feature. (I’ll include some of my favorite photos taken by the photographers.)

Annual Passholders can add a year of Maxpass for around $75. If you go more than 7 days out of the year, it is worth it.

You don’t have to travel across the parks all day to get Fastpasses! You can book Fastpasses for either Disneyland or California Adventure no matter where you are in the parks.

If a ride that you have a Fastpass for breaks down, you will automatically get a “Multiple Experience” pass uploaded onto your account. This is a pass that you can use for ANY ride that is located in the same park as the ride that broke down. This is hella nice because you get reimbursed with another fastpass without having to do anything.

You get all the photos that are taken during the rides! There is a code at the bottom of the photo that you copy in the app, and then it will appear.

You don’t need to scan your admission ticket when you are in the Fastpass line. All you need to do is scan a barcode on the app yay. This is super convenient because the uneducated people take forever to whip out their tickets (even though they should already be out for scanning).



The photographers don’t get enough credit. People rarely buy the pictures so when they see that you have Maxpass, they go all out. Sometimes they will follow you around for multiple photo ops if there isn’t a line! They do an amazing job and I would defs recommend taking advantage.

Trader Joe's "Breakfast Trek Mix"

Rating: 6/10 Let me start by asking, what the hell is trek mix? I’m just going to assume it’s another word for trail mix. I enjoy this, but I don’t need it in my life. The TRAIL mix consists of granola balls, almonds, dried cranberries and yogurt chips. The flavors are great, between the saltiness of the almonds and the sweetness of the yogurt chips. But, it doesn’t do enough for me. This is perfect for a snack… a small snack. If you’re at Disneyland and eat this thinking you’ll no longer feel hungry, then you’re stupid and guess what? Still hungry. I wouldn’t recommend this for a legit snack to keep you full, but more of a snack when you barely start getting hungry. I eat these in my classes, so I’m not too obnoxious bringing full ass meals into a lecture hall. What is great about these, are that they are individually packaged! Trader Joe's "Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice"

YES YES YES 10/10               This is amazing! I’ve read that Trader Joe’s carries really good Indian food, so I wanted to try it for myself. I wouldn’t consider myself a lover of Indian food… usually. But this meal made me think otherwise. The microwave instructions are more intense than the typical frozen meal, but it is worth it for something that tastes so authentic. You’re supposed to put it in the microwave for 5 minutes on “defrost mode”. Then you’ll cook it regularly for 4 more minutes.  One of the things I love is that the meat/sauce and rice are seperated. So don’t stress about soggy rice! The portion of this is so big. It is such a realistic size for a meal, unlike Healthy Choice meals lol. You know how you get frozen meals and the chicken is  nonexistent? Well don’t be scared of that her e. There are hu ge pieces of juicy chicken in a pool of yummy sauce.
