Trader Joe's: Watermelon Cold Pressed Juice

Rating of 5/10 I really disliked this product. Maybe it was because I was drinking it for fun and not a juicing diet? Obviously there’s no sweetener, so you’re literally drinking just watermelon juice (DUH). I would never buy this again, but I think it’s a great idea for those who do juicing diets. $3.49 is really reasonable for a cold pressed juice, considering places like Whole Foods and Vitality Bowls (worked there, it was torture) sell them for around $10.

Trader Joe's: Chili Lime Tortilla Chips

Image
Rating: 10/10 Yes ladies and gentlemen, you read that right. These chips are well deserving of a 10/10 woo. The TJ chili lime chips can be compared to Taki’s! I think these are better than Taki’s. They really focus on the chili lime flavor so you can savor the ingredients, where Taki’s are there to ruin your life lol. They aren’t extremely spicy, but they do have a nice kick! Honestly, eating these make me feel better about myself since they are a “healthier” chip hehe. This product is less than $3 woo! And they don’t stain your fingers like Taki’s do, so that’s a fat plus.

Movie Review- How To Train Your Dragon: Hidden World

Image
Rating: 8/10 OMG I never knew I was missing out on an amazing movie series until I saw the new How To Train Your Dragon movie! It had such an amazing storyline. I defs think that it would have been beneficial to see the first two, but it wasn’t hard to keep up with (with the help of plot summaries off of google). I loved the humor of the movie. There were so many jokes that were like secretly hidden jokes for adults, and it was hilarious. I love those kinds of movies that make the kids and adults laugh! I’d recommend this movie to everyone! Ug this made me wish I was still doing Moviepass. (photo-google)

Trader Joe's: Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings

Image
Rating: Eh, 5.5/10 Boo I wasn’t thrilled with these. Honestly, I think a pro-con list is necessary: PRO CON This was a really nice alternative to driving all the way to Buffalo Wild Wings It only came with 12 wings It was only $5.99 $5.99 is a good price, but I’d rather get boneless wings at BWW They were spicy and had great flavor There are “multiple” servings yet I ate all 12 BONE-IN WINGS SUCK.. #teamboneless Overall, I probably wouldn’t buy these again. Yeah $5.99 is a good price, but for all the work you have to do to get the meat off the bone, it’s not worth it lol. I prefer my Thursday nights at BWW with boneless wings.

Chandler Goes to the Library!

Image
Who knew Chandler would like the library? Well he likes it for the wrong reasons, for the people lol. I have to frequently go to the library on campus to pick up supplies for my tutor job, which is sooo far from where I live. I never want to walk alone so I always take my bff, Chandler the pug. He never says no to a walk, and if anything, makes the walk twice as long because he MUST piss on everything he sees. At least I get my steps in for the day, right?! The journey to the library is quite easy and believe it or not, so is being in the actual library! I can’t let him walk around in the library so that means I carry him. He gets held like a baby and honestly might be cuter than a baby hehe.. No one ever turns him away in public places… I mean he’s like royalty on campus. Long story short, I stopped a million times to let everyone pet him in my arms and then eventually make it outside… I know I said I can’t let him walk in the library, but I did hide on the top floor so I cou...

GUESS WHO'S BACK?

I’m back peasants and this time… here to stay. Last semester was absolute shit so I decided to take a little break from the posts. I think it was a mix of having the worst possible classes and the stress that came with it. BUT, now I’m taking classes that I WANTED and am living my best life. I am no longer tutoring for the easiest math class on campus, but am tutoring for calculus! Well pre-calculus, but let’s not focus on the “pre”. Oh honey I am still a Trader Joe hoe, and have been trying TONS of new items so be prepared for the endless posts. Woo! There was a point in December where I tried to do YouTube, but it just didn’t work for me. I actually had a few videos all edited and ready, but it didn’t feel right. Now I know I am a damn hoot (basically meaning that i'm hilarious, which I am), but after watching the videos back, I felt that my reactions were super ingenuine. Anyone that knows me from highschool knows that I’d do anything to end up on a big screen, but when it ...

Trader Joe's "Pesto and Quinoa"

Image
Rating 9/10 What a discovery!! This isn’t your typical pesto sauce for pasta. This is a mix of pesto and quinoa in a jar. The purpose is more for spreading on protein or to put in a salad. I’ve seen someone put it in pasta, but it looked DRY AF. I personally put this on chicken breast and it was damn near perfect. I don’t know the exact price, but I’m almost positive it was around $3. This product has a long refrigerator life, like 2 years… which is lovely. The taste was EXTRAORDINARY. There is such a fresh pesto flavor, with the texture of quinoa. Like I said earlier, I put this on my chicken. I added a layer of the pesto to the top of chicken with a tomato slice and then later adding pepper jack cheese to the top. Trader Joe’s is always coming up with things that make me feel more “chefy”. UPDATE: Well I have an update on this product... it started molding, despite the expiration date being in two years. I wrote this review weeks and weeks ago, but I'm glad th...
